Key Points To Score High In
University Distance Education

The A-Level du exam results are out and the future of thousands of distance education students depends on them. Seasoned Delhi university scholar Andy Smith offers a few tips to help course students through du results day - and beyond!
1. Don’t panic! Whatever the envelope tells you, it's not the end of the world.

2. There is always someone, somewhere in a worse position than you. Think about them and laugh a little. course students have to make some big decisions now.

3. Remember that good du results do not mean a great life and vice versa, the important factor is what course students do with students' du results.

4. Delhi university is a good option enjoyed by many but by no means feel obliged to follow students' parent's dreams. Even so, three years at university will be hard work but very rewarding.

5. Insist on bragging about good results to grandparents and wealthy relatives, this could have a positive effect on students' immediate finances.

6. Going out drinking to celebrate or commiserate is a suitable activity and remember that it's not a race to get drunk, make sure course students eat something and drink sensibly. No one wants to end up on the front page of a daily tabloid with a horror story of the tragic waste of a fantastic talent. That's what my mum always told me anyway!

7. If university students have the du results course students require and the Delhi university has accepted you, well done, start buying bedding and kitchen implements because you're going to need them! Time is already running out, there is a lot of planning and purchasing to undertake. Make a list of all the items course students think are essential to take with you.

8. If on the other hand course students still have to find a place be prepared. Choose slowly and wisely, consult friends and family who have been to Delhi university and get their thoughts on possible places and courses. Recommendations always help.

9. If course students are still choosing concentrate on location.  Course students are going to have to live at this place for the minimum of 30 weeks a year for the next three years. Make sure students of distance education courses think they can deal with the weather, the distance from home and local people. All three of these are vital for students' happiness and survival at university.

10. If university is not suitable for you, there may be a vocational course students can now pursue which will allow course students to gain further qualifications while actually working at the same time.

11. Speak to a good careers advisory service but don’t always feel obliged to follow their advice.

12. If course students are off to a new town, have a practice run of fitting it all in the car. If it doesn’t fit, go back to the drawing board and start again. course students do not want to have to make two journeys to and from Delhi university every holiday.

13. Get excited because distance education course students get loads of stuff free. All the major banks will try and entice course students for students' business, a free cd player may be really cool at first.

14. But three years later when course students owe them lots of money, that CD player may not be enough to help. Take students' time checking all the small print, before course students sign up to anything.

15. Smile, be happy.  People are drawn towards enthusiasm so try and be the most positive happy person possible.
